The selling point for me on this medical ID bracelet, is that you can list your medical issues, and should one come up later in live, you add to the list. For example, recently I found out I was allergic to Penicillin. I was able to add that to the list I already had in the little compartment that opens up. The only thing that kind of bugged me was the closure was a pain in the butt, but it's a good thing so it won't just come off. I've learned to slip it on.
