It appears to be real silver. I've purchased other rings recently that i had to send back because they looked not deent. I have larger fingers and although it's described as dainty, it's still surprisingly flattering on my hand. The stones I added are beautiful, and well set, and the band has thickness to it, so it's durable, but comfortable.
