As time goes on, the mechanism to open and close the eyelid becomes much easier which means people see 'the eye' more often than not, and it may take people by surprise. An instance at the Waffle House on a Sunday morning comes to mind. When the eye is closed this is a stunning detailed steampunk. When the eye is open make no mistake; this is a statement piece.
