The ring i received is indeed .925 sterling silver and did not discolor my finger at all. However, i ordered it to be used as a middle finger, midi-knuckle ring and it is a tiny bit too bulky for my taste. Can't fault Neatie or the ring for that though. I may try ordering some other more dainty looking ring from Neatie some other time. ;-)
