The necklace arrived in a box that might be suitable for display (but not shipping) put into a padded envelope. The chain and pendant were free to move around in the package and the delicate chain ended up in a significant knot. It took about 5 minutes with a pair of toothpicks just to unsnarl the chain.The gem was in very nice condition but the depth of the mounting makes the pendant mostly fall to one side or the other while my wife is wearing it.
