WHAT FUN. This is a flashing necklace that's not gaudy. It requires batteries that are easily acquired on Neatie inexpensively with good service and delivery. I'm enchanted and bought several to use as stocking stuffers. For what it is, it's a bit pricy. But, I'm buying novelty and that's worth an extra pound. I received one as a gift and the thrill I'm passing on to others. Highly recommended
